Prior to forming Crestwood Advisors, Michael was a Managing Director with Bingham Legg Advisers LLC in Boston, MA. He served as that firm's Senior Portfolio Manager and Chair of the Investment Policy Committee, setting overall investment strategy and the structure of the firm's model equity portfolio. Michael played a key role in the formation and development of Bingham Legg Advisers; creating the firm's investment strategies and developing the formal policies and procedures to define and articulate the firm's investment philosophies and disciplines.
Prior to joining Bingham, Michael was a Vice President with Kidder Peabody in Boston, MA, serving as an investment advisor to high net worth individuals and had previously been a Vice President at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Bear Stearns in New York City. He received his B.S. from the University of Delaware and his MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Michael holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the Association of Investment Management and Research (AIMR) and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
